Was bedeutet "[notebook]" in "pip install ipython [notebook]"?

Question

Das "[Notebook]" scheint eine Art Modifikator zu sein, aber als ich Jupyter statt ipython installierte, fragte ich mich plötzlich, was andere Varianten dieses Modifikators ich verpasst habe, vielleicht etwas, das würde spezifisch installieren Kernel oder Konfigurationen für mich.

Leider weiß ich nicht, was das '[Notebook]' ist: pip search '[notebook]' findet nichts, und ich weiß nicht, was dieser Modifikator ist oder ist. Ich habe mir die PyPI-Namenskonvention pep usw. angeschaut, aber ich konnte nichts finden, das auf '[...]' -Notation verweist.
